چکیده
Investigation of methods to effectively block the high-permeability channel and displace residual oil in small pores old oilfields is an urgent research hotspot. The heat-resistant carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) foam with high viscoelasticity low interfacial tension, which suitable for improving recovery oilfields, at same time aids sequestration. In this study, a foaming agent was selected by considering temperature resistance, plugging, profile control as evaluation indicators, CO prepared. Then, two-dimensional (2D) plate model experiment designed verify feasibility process order solve problems sweep range uneven degree reservoir. results show that (RSB-IV) still maintained volume 375 ml 300°C, tension only 0.008 mNm −1 . prepared exhibited best effect when gas liquid mixed injection, gas-liquid ratio 1:1, injection 4.5–5.5 PV. 2D experiment, flooding promoted remaining matrix, increased 61.01%. Furthermore, designing cap, it verified cap large (above 1.5 PV), could not improve rate, but also achieve effective capture.

Fractional-Flow Models for Foam Enhanced Oil Recovery
George E. P. Box wrote, "All models are false, but some models are useful." In that spirit, we examine fractionalflow models for foam enhanced oil recovery (EOR). This approach has long fascinated practitioners by transforming a physics problem first into a mathematics problem and then into a geometry puzzle. This approach, sometimes called the method of characteristics (MOC), makes many seriou...
متن کاملAn Experimental Study of Surfactant Alternating CO2 Injection for Enhanced Oil Recovery of Carbonated Reservoir
Core flooding experiments were conducted with the objective of evaluating near miscible surfactant alternating CO2 injection and the effect of surfactant concentrations on gas-oil and water displacements in porous media. The core samples were provided from a low permeability mixed wet oil reservoir at 156 °F and 1900 psia. In addition, very few studies of surfactant adsorption on car...
متن کاملApplication of Nanoparticles for Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery
In this paper, the potentials of using particles, especially nanoparticles, in enhanced oil recovery is investigated. The effect of different nanoparticles on wettability alteration, which is an important method to increase oil recovery from oil-wet reservoirs, is reviewed. The effect of different kinds of particles, namely solid inorganic particles, hydrophilic or hydrophobic nanoparticles, an...
